Inaugurado em 1966, o projeto é da autoria de Januário Godinho. De linhas puras e linguagem arquitetónica austera apresenta, no exterior painéis cerâmicos de Jorge Barradas.

Opened to the public in 1966, the project was designed by the architect Januário Godinho. With pure lines and an austere architectural language, it also has ceramic panels by Jorge Barradas on the façade.
