Largo em forma de praceta, caracterizado por uma zona de esplanadas com bares e animação noturna, destacando-se a sudeste o beiral da casa de gosto setecentista da Quinta de S. Tomé; a nascente a casa setecentista de estilo senhorial da Família Chaves; e a poente o torreão dos armazéns de azeite construídos na primeira década de 1900 por um abastado comerciante local.

This is small square, characterised by an area of terraces with bars and nightlife. On the southeast, the eaves of the eighteenth century house of the Quinta de São Tomé stand out and noteworthy on the east is the manor house style residence of the Chaves family and on the west, the tower of the olive oil house warehouses, which was built in the first decade of the 1900's by a rich local merchant.
